The Khayar Lake trekking (4500 Meter) is situated between Annapurna base Camp and Jomsom Trial. It is a beautiful Trekking area with a mix of culture and excellent mountain views over the many Himalayas including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Annapurna, and Nilgiri. Beside the scenic extravaganza of the peaks, the warm hospitality of the Gurung people along the way. Khair Trek is well off the beaten trail, on to long, remote mountain ridges, through exposit forest and to visit traditional villages.

From Pokhara, our walk begins in the lower, more temperate region of forested hillsides and Gurung and Magar village. As we move higher through the rhododendron woodlands the views of Annapurna South, Hiunchuli and Machhapuchhre are astounding. On reaching Kopra Ridge our campsite is right below Mt. Annapurna I. From here we walk up to the sacred lake above Kair, a marvelous alpine experience. The trek back to Pokhara takes us via Ghorepani, Poon Hill for one of the most famous panoramas in the Annapurna range. 

Day 1 : Arrival in Kathmandu

Day 2 : Sightseeing in Kathmandu

Day 3 : Flight/ Drive to Pokhara

Day 4 : Drive to Birethanti and trek Ghandruk village (1940m.) (5-6 hours)

Day 5 : Trek to Bayli Kharka(3450m.) (5 hours)

Day 6 : Trek to Khopra Danda (Ridge) (3660m.) (5 hours)

Day 7 : Trek to Khayer Lake(4,620m.) and return

Day 8 : Trek to Narchyang (1510m.) (5 hours)

Day 9 : Trek to Tatopani (1190m)

Day 10 : Drive to Beni and continue drive to Pokhara (823m.)

Day 11 : Flight/ Drive to Kathmandu

Day 12 : Final Departure
