Flying to Lhasa from Kathmandu with the wonderful views of the giant Himalayan range giants of Mt. Everest, Makalu, Cho Oyu and Kanchenjunga, four of the highest peaks in the world. We spend several days in our adaptation and exploration approach to {everest|Everest|Mount Mt. Everest|Mt. Everest|mountain peak} base camp and Advanced Everest Base Camp in Tibet. We witness the sights and sounds of Lhasa and Tibet – Potala palace, Norbulinkha temple, Jorkhang Square, Sera and Drepung monasteries, Namsto Lake on the way to Gyantse and Tashilhunpo monastery in Shigatse – not to miss! Day 01: Fly Ktm to Lhasa (3,650 m)
Day 02: Sightseeing in Lhasa: Potala Palace, Norbulingka Palace and Tibet Museum:
Day 03: Sightseeing in Lhasa: Sera Monastery, Drepung Monastery, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Bazaar
Day 04: Drive from Lhasa to Shigatse (3,900m) via Gyantse: 367km, 6 - 7 hours
Day 05: Drive from Shigatse to Lotingri (4,050m): 305km, 5-6 hours
Day 06: Trek from Lotingri to Lungchang (4510m): 4-5 hours
Day 07: Lungchang to Nam La pass (5100m) 5-6 hours
Day 08: Nam La pass to Rongbuk (5,000m): 20km, 5 - 6 hours
Day 09: Rongbuk to Everest Base Camp (5,250m): 4- 5 hours
Day 10: Acclimatization and Exploration at Everest Base Camp
Day 11: Everest Base Camp to Japanese Camp (5,460m): 12 Km, 3 - 4 hours
Day 12: Japanese Camp to Interim Camp (5,800m): 7 Km, 4 - 5 hours
Day 13: Trek to Changtse Base Camp (5,950m): 5 Km, 3 - 4 hours
Day 14: Trek to Everest Advance Base camp (6,340m): 3 Km, 3 – 4 hours
Day 15: Return to the Everest Base Camp: 8 - 9 hours
Day 16: Drive from Everest Base Camp to Zhangmu (2300m): 245 km, 5 - 6 hours
Day 17: Zhangmu to Kathmandu (1350m): 153 km, 4 - 5 hours
